This Privacy Policy explains what information Simple Rent Ledger (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit simplerentledger.com (the “Site”), how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name and email address when you contact us, download a template or subscribe to our emails, and anything you include in your message.
- Information collected automatically: standard log data such as IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed and referring pages, collected by our hosting provider and analytics tools.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files used to keep the Site working and measure traffic.
Our templates run in your own Google Sheets or Excel. We do not see or collect the rent, tenant or expense data you enter into them.
How we use information
- To send the templates or emails you asked for.
- To answer your messages.
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
If you subscribe, we use MailerLite to store your email address and send our emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use and interact with the Site, through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay. Clarity collects usage data with first and third party cookies and similar technologies. We use this information to improve the Site and for security. Sharing
